Shippensburg stepped out of Colonial Division play to host Commonwealth power Cumberland Valley and the Eagles grabbed a 10-0 five-inning victory at home.

Shippensburg falls to 0-7 overall and travels to Greencastle-Antrim Tuesday for a contest against the Blue Devils, a team needing victories to keep pace with the front-running Boiling Springs Bubblers.

Tyler Thompson and Micah Wolf combined on the two-hit shut out, allowing only one walk. The Eagles scored seven times in the fourth inning.

Jayson Kramer smacked a home run and PSU commit Justin Williams cracked two doubles, drove in two runs and scored twice.

Scott Witter and Aaron Ross had the hits for the ‘Hounds.
