St. James 2 Fannett Metal 1
Willow Hill, Pa. Over the weekend, Fannett-Metal (2-2) dropped a non-league contest to St. James 2 to 1. The Saints scored 2 unearned runs in the top of the 1st and the Lady Tigers scored 1 run in the bottom of the 7th. In between, there was a combined 25 strikeouts. Jade Rhodes struck out 12 batters in 5.1 innings pitched. She also followed Jealee Stouffer’s two out double in the 7th with an RBI single to knock in the Lady Tigers only run. Fannett-Metal returns to action Tuesday at home vs Forbes Road.

Hustontown, Pa. 4/13/18 – Kylie Golden threw a complete game striking out eight in Southern Fulton’s (3-2, 3-1 SHL, 3-1 ICC) 17-3 league win over Forbes Road (0-2, 0-2 SHL, 0-2 ICC). The Lady Indians broke open a 2-2 tie game in the sixth inning and never looked back. The Lady Indians were led by Jessie Covalt with 3 hits, Kylie Golden and Cheyenne Miller added 2. Courtney Schoen, Payton Watkins, and Maddie Miller collected hits for the Lady Cardinals. The Lady Cardinals travel to a Fannett Metal on Tuesday.
