Chambersburg 3, Red Land 0: The Trojans prevailed over the Patriots in a non-league boys volleyball match Monday at CASHS Field House, taking wins by scores of 25-16, 25-23 and 25-22.
Chambersburg coach Paul Schlabach said, “It was not our strongest match — we were again plagued by mental errors. Red Land played us tough. It seemed like their libero was making a touch on almost every single ball we hit at them, but in the end we had just enough good plays down the stretch to win the match.”
Steve Swain had 10 kills and 2 blocks for the Trojans (4-5), Will Simmers had 7 kills, 4 block assists and 2 blocks, Ty Holsopple made 3 blocks, Josiah Picard dug up 16 balls and Wes Newman had 9 digs.
