McConnellsburg (0-3, 0-3 SHL, 0-3 ICC) dropped a league contest at home to Northern Bedford 51-45. Dom Reed led the Spartans with his second straight double double with 14 points and 14 rebounds. Nehemiah Romig added 12 points. Spartan Coach Drew Washabaugh said, “We haven’t played a complete game yet. We only scored 3 points in the 2nd quarter and played from behind the whole game. We also have to cut down on our turnovers (19). A few positives, Dom Reed had his 2nd straight game with a double double (14 pts. /14 rebounds). This is the first game we had two guys in double figures.” JV score NBC 41, MHS 33 Philip Strait had 21 points/11 rebounds for MHS. The Spartans will participate in the Fannett Metal Christmas Tournament next Thursday and Friday opening with the Maryland School for the Deaf on Thursday evening.
