The James Buchanan Lady Rocket girls tennis team suffered its first loss of the season Thursday, a 4-1 setback to East Pennsboro.

East Penn won 3 of the 4 singles matches and both doubles. Amber Clark earned JB’s lone point, playing for almost 3 hours and pulling out a tough 3-set victory (4-6, 7-5, 6-1) at No. 3 singles.

“We ran into a senior laden team,” JB coach Terri Beegle said.
